As a Behavior Center & Kennel Owner, as well as a Certified Dog Behavior Consultant and Certified Dog Trainer I thought I had a pretty good grasp on most things related to animal behavior. UNTIL I GOT A CAT. When this new magnificent animal entered my life I realized the clueless human I was. Things that would make sense in my canine world just didn't in the feline. In fact, somethings were the exact opposite! That is where the expertise, common sense, approachable manner, and wealth of knowledge of Ingrid Johnson, CCBC came in to save the day. I was able to consult with her professional to professional, and sometimes silly new cat owner to professional, about all of my concerns. She addressed environmental enrichment (the fun/safe toys and climbing access), diet (wet vs dry vs brands), introduction to my dog and another cat (are they fighting? are they playing? will the new cat ever like me?) and the multitude of concerns I had because I wanted to do it "right" but didn't know how! She gave me practical easy to implement suggestions and allowed me to enjoy this new learning experience instead of just being frustrated or worried.
Ingrid is accessible and understanding and exemplifies a commitment to the highest standards of behavior consulting available in the feline community. It is my pleasure to give her my professional and personal endorsement.
