Introducing a very shy cat into our multi-cat household was a bigger challenge than Jim and I expected, but exactly as Ingrid predicted and SO rewarding. Ingrid checked out our house for vertical spaces, number of litter boxes including type and location, feeding stations and foraging toys, and suggested a new-cat-segregation plan. Then she patiently answered our questions as we fretted because Cole hid in the basement, with drooping tail and averted gaze. For months!
It’s been a year since we moved to Arizona. Cole is relaxed and happy, handy with a Buster Cube filled with Hill’s Ideal Balance and assertive enough to claim a perch in my home office window. We recommended Ingrid to our friend Julie, who benefited as much as we did. It’s a relief to have an expert weigh in on puzzling situations, for both human and feline cohabitants.
